Maintains close working relationships with and generates new business from existing key customers. Responsible for customer satisfaction. Works with internal support team to maximize sales and revenue growth. Gathers detailed information about accounts, identifies decision-makers, and understands strategic business challenges and priorities. Builds relationships and develops plans to increase sales and profitability for mid-size accounts that are regional or national in-scope and make regional or national purchasing decisions. Drives sales by creating, executing and communicating business plans to grow sales for Interior Logic Group. Negotiates regional contracts and rebate programs. Ensures effective implementation of regional account programs through all sales channels.

 

Primary Tasks & Responsibilities

Generates viable sales leads and prospects through market and account research, sales events, networking, vendor events and computer programs. Contacts assigned and prospective accounts to secure new business.

Develops and executes profitable business plans for managing accounts. Teams with individuals within sales and key corporate personnel to communicate account plans, pricing, and offers assistance to drive sales.

Develop, execute and communicate business plans for profitably growing sales of assigned customers. Provides market and competitor information to appropriate channel within the company. Accountable for attaining assigned sales quota, part margin

Responsible for interacting with customers, vendors, and associates to resolve customer and service-related issues.

Responsible for maintaining a current and competent base of product knowledge and applies that knowledge when servicing customers.

Responsible for maintaining and submitting all required sales administration reports. Regularly attends company meetings.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in office related field or comparable work experience

SAP Experience

5-8 years account management experience

Ability to demonstrate or display office protocols to staff and other departments

Must be highly organized, detail oriented and results driven

Ability to prioritize and handle numerous tasks simultaneously

Effective written and oral communication skills

 

Work Environment

Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds)

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
