As the Account Manager, Expos and Advertising, you will be responsible for advertising and exhibition sales and account management functions, including meeting budget expectations, growing revenues, and assisting corporate clients in selecting appropriate exposure opportunities to meet their business objectives. You will also be responsible for the active generation of corporate sales prospects. To be successful, you should have: Bachelor's degree preferred 2-4 years of B2B sales experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), internet browsing, and database software.
Ability to lift, carry, and handle up to 40 lbs. Ability to travel up to 10% Your responsibilities as the Account Manager, Expos and Advertising include: Managing and growing sales pipeline: creating new sales opportunities in the CRM while providing immediate response to in-bound sales leads as they relate to IFMA's print and digital advertising products, exhibits, and sponsorships for IFMA's conferences Being proficient in IFMA's technology for management of sales pipeline, including lead generation, qualification, and closing (as won or lost), through the CRM and ZoomInfo or similar platforms Assisting with the development and execution of strategies for lead generation, sales, and meeting or exceeding revenue goals Actively prospecting for sales leads; establishes and develops long-lasting new customer/client relationships Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships; develops trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors while providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders Preparing and delivering proposals and marketing collateral in the course of the sales process Invoicing orders, collects and processes payments related to product sales Maintaining and ensuring accurate data in all customer records for effective communications Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives; resolves conflicts and provides solutions to customers promptly Assisting in working with the Events team with various production pieces to ensure that exhibitor, sponsor, and advertiser recognition is attributed appropriately Representing IFMA at industry events Coordinating effectively with internal stakeholders to support the overall experience of prospects and IFMA members with their inquiries Best-in-Class Benefits and Perks: Our client values our employees' time and efforts.
