What’s the opportunity?
Axle Logistics is in search of an outgoing and organized individual looking to grow and develop client relationships. Based in the Knoxville TN headquarters, the highly impactful role of Key Account Manager requires direct collaboration with our National Sales Executives. From onboarding new clients, understanding their needs, and creating KPIs – an Axle Key Account Manager must be a dynamic multitasker focused on relationship building and strategic account growth.
What does the position require?
• Assist with onboarding of new clients to ensure a clean transition from NSE
• Understand clients KPIs and create internal SOPs
• Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with client key stakeholders
• Develop management reports to track KPIs and adherence to set targets
• Oversee and manage customer activities and serve as an escalation point
• Implement and continuously sell Axles portfolio of value adds and additional modes of service
• Facilitate quarterly business reviews to evaluate metrics, and discuss new opportunities as well as operational challenges
• Ensure internal operations are exceeding account expectations
• Assess client’s transportation budgets while managing spend, change, and risk
• Financial Management of account(s):
o Budgeting
o Demand planning
o Monthly forecasting
