Job Description
We are looking for highly motivated, competitive account managers to work closely with accounts to understand their business needs, opportunities, and goals. You will be assigned a book of accounts, which initially will be smaller to mid-size customers. As you grow with the organization, you will start to handle larger accounts. Six to eight times a year, you will be required to travel to Markets for up to one-week intervals. Self-motivation, good judgment, ability to influence, analytical talent, and exceptional communication are essential to succeed in this role.
Job Responsibilities
· Actively engage in learning UMA’s account management systems and techniques. Gain proficiency in presenting UMA’s value proposition to accounts.
· Develop, maintain, and grow accounts. Work closely with each account to understand their business needs, opportunities and goals.
· Achieve agreed upon sales targets and stated key performance indicators (KPI).
· Meet customer needs, offer options, resolve problems, follow up and manage/escalate concerns if necessary.
· Utilize account management technology including CRM, online ordering (ecommerce) and artificial intelligence (AI).
· Attend out-of-town trade shows six to eight times a year for up to one-week intervals.
Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
· 1 year of sales experience. May substitute experience in design or retail.
. Excellent interpersonal skills, which can be used in a sales and client service capacity.
· Home décor and furniture experience would be ideal. If a candidate does not have that experience, however, a passion for furniture and home décor is necessary.
· Relationship based, detail oriented, self-motivated, highly analytical, data driven and good communicator.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
· Must be in Greater Los Angeles area. Required to work in the office 4 days a week.

Pay: $66,560.00 - $67,000.00 per year
