This vital Account Executive role is for a dynamic business development leader with a background in credit card processing, account management, and partner relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Have an entrepreneurial mentality with focus on sourcing new business through relationships, cold calling and strategic business development campaigns
- Promote, present, and sell enterprise point-of-sale products and payment processing services to new clients
- Design presentations, proposals, and web demonstrations in order to meet the direct needs of the prospective client
- Act as a primary contact and advisor for prospects throughout the sales cycle, while managing the complete sales cycle with strategic urgency
- Meet and exceed assigned sales target quotas and activity targets (e.g., cold calls, emails, meetings, demos)
- Able to build strong, consultative face-to-face relationships with new clients to develop positive, long-term relationships
- Resolve client inquiries and complaints
- Set follow-up appointments to keep clients aware of latest developments
- Be an industry expert and provide insightful, strategic technical recommendations to clients, delivering the right solution for clients' evolving business requirements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of solution-based selling experience in the payments industry
- 3+ years of experience in point-of-sale (POS) products and selling complex solutions into SMB and enterprise businesses
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in POS sales and deployments
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Zoho and Monday.com
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients, team members, and sales channels
- Strong negotiation skills with previous experience selling Software-as-a-Service solutions
- Extremely organized with professional follow-up habits, being deadline and detail-oriented
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
