Position Summary
You will be developing new business by marketing and selling Service and Scheduled Maintenance Agreements to property managers and building owners for commercial building’s heating and cooling systems. LONG is a leader in building heating and cooling systems with an established presence in the market. You will be provided training in our sales systems and philosophies.
Pay Range: $65,000- $72,000 base depending upon experience, plus commission. (First 12 months guaranteed commissions)

Responsibilities
- Develop sales leads through personal contacts, professional organization participation, trade shows, observations of sites, newspaper and magazine articles and in-house leads
- Maintaining and mining CRM database of good fit locations
- Cold calling on the phone and in-person at prospects location
- Achieves booking and gross margin goals.
- Effectively perform needs assessments and develop sales proposals, estimates, and presentations
- Negotiates and sells maintenance service agreements and spot service work
- Collaborates with sales team
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales-related work experience or compatible/related skillsets developed from other industries
- Possess excellent interpersonal communication, computer and estimating skills
- Ability to travel to and inspect jobsites and to visit customer businesses
- Technical and financial aptitude
- Willingness to learn and put our professional selling systems and philosophies into action
- Valid driver’s license and clear MVR
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Valid driver’s license and clear MVR
- Knowledge of HVAC electrical, and mechanical
- Prior sales experience with commercial building services
- Ability to interpret mechanical plans and specifications.
- Any credentials, including: LEED GA/AP, CEM, FE, or PE
- ASHRAE association
- Bachelor’s degree
