Responsibilities
- Attend meetings, troubleshoot problems, draft recaps.
- Build strong relationships with clients and proactively manage correspondence.
- Demonstrate familiarity with the healthcare regulatory process.
- Demonstrate understanding of healthcare terminology.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete them on time and on budget.
- Exhibit strong focus on traditional PR and technical writing and working with media.
- Media relations, tracking, reporting and social media monitoring.
- Report to all members of the cross-office team and work with multiple people simultaneously.
- Write, edit and proofread materials ensuring quality and consistency with appropriate writing styles.
Qualifications
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination before start date. Candidates may request accommodation due to a disability or sincerely held religious belief or an exception required under applicable law.
- 1-3 years of experience in communications/public relations; agency, non-profit or advocacy experience with healthcare or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Detail oriented.
- Drive results and consistently meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, strong organizational and multitasking skills and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent writing skills, experience crafting pitches, releases, contributed articles.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Solid grasp of all basic public relations tools and how they affect the client.
