About the Job
Alloy is seeking an Account Director with 9+ years of marketing and PR experience in B2B Healthcare Tech communications. Sector experience in healthcare IT, SaaS/software, medical device, biotech, pharma, or Enterprise tech is highly desirable to represent our broad global client base.
The Details of the Account Director Position
- Serve as an integrated marketing consultant or account lead for our game-changing B2B tech clients
- Lead and execute diverse integrated media relations strategies and campaigns
- Ensure all account team deliverables adhere to Alloy’s quality, award-winning standards
- Serve as an account lead and strategist on 3-5 key accounts, building great relationships with client contacts based on trust and respect.
- Produce high caliber writing assignments such as bylines, whitepapers, case studies, award submissions and rapid response statements.
- Be an SME. Subject matter experts are an important part of our strategy.
- Organic growth and profitability are priorities for Account Directors, and you’ll also have an opportunity to participate in new business pitches, too.
- Coach and provide feedback by leading both internal and client meetings, managing integrated comms campaigns, ensuring the quality of work produced by junior team members and developing key account plans (e.g.,tradeshow activations, influencer marketing plans, product launch plans, corporate messaging portfolios, executive social strategies, analyst relations, etc.).
- Measure clients’ media, social media, lead gen and marketing results and effectively translate analytics into actionable insights and recommendations that constantly drive success and push the boundaries of what PR can achieve.
- Lead quarterly review sessions from planning through execution, assigning roles to team members while pushing them to think critically about their analysis from the client POV.
- Build relationships in the B2B tech sector to fuel our growing business pipeline and ensure long-term health of the practice group, and drive renewals and upsells for respective client portfolios.
- Support company marketing through the curation of thought leadership content and participating in speaking engagements.
Skills Needed:
- You’re authentic, bold, passionately curious, accountable, radically candid and agile.
- Existing relationships within the technology ecosystem, including reporters, VCs, analysts, influencers and brands
- Experience crafting and executing national and global media relations campaigns; leading brainstorming and content planning sessions; supporting new business pitches and communicating with stakeholders
- You know this software like the back of your hand: Microsoft Office Suite, newswire service providers, media database systems, Google Analytics
- You are familiar with this software: Sprout Social, CMS platforms, HubSpot/Marketo/Pardot/etc., Basecamp (or other project management software), Google AdWords, Canva/InDesign/etc., Mac OS
Experience Required
- Agency or in-house B2B tech PR & Marketing experience required
- Existing relationships within the B2B technology ecosystem, including reporters, VCs, analysts, influencers and brands.
