What We Are Looking For:
Role Overview
The Account Development Manager, North America ("ADMNA") is a revenue-generating account management position responsible for growing and maintaining the success of all TelmarHelixa client accounts in North America (currently focused in the US and Canada). The ADMNA owns the relationship for Telmar's agency and advertiser clients. As a growth-focused organization, TelmarHelixa expects this position to achieve promotion to a Director level within 18-24 months.
The ADMNA's primary responsibilities are maintaining client adoption/satisfaction in order to drive upsell opportunities, multi-year retention, and overall renewal management. This role is integrated to Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance in order to maximize the value of current and prospective client offerings.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a detailed engagement strategy to C-Level, SVP/VP-Level, and influencers/decision makers of all sizes within the client (agency and advertiser), handling complex discussions around product and "how to" within audience targeting and media planning workflows
- Lead education and enablement of key agency functions including delivery of training, roadshows, summits and other agency-wide events
- Build and execute business plans with key client stakeholders which drive adoption of TelmarHelixa's tools and products
- Lean into key advertiser initiatives at agency clients to increase partner revenue across multiple TelmarHelixa products
- Liaise with global teams to identify transformative opportunities for agency and advertiser partnerships
- Report on client revenue and renewal status consistently in a transparent way
- Measure, monitor, drive and maintain client adoption and satisfaction, and identify and review churn risks
- Continuously look for opportunities to leverage learnings across clients to improve systems and processes across all aspects of the customer journey/
- Maintain accurate and timely information within company CRM database
Qualifications
- Strong business leader with a deep understanding of the Advertising Landscape
- +5 years of B2B sales experience
- Prior experience in agency development, business development, partnerships or sales working with or within media planning teams.
- Domain expertise in digital advertising with focus on Streaming TV/Video
- Experience and comprehension of Media Buying or Selling across linear and digital advertising tactics.
- Established relationships at, or at least deep understanding of, 'Big 6' Holding Companies
- Experience in agency stakeholder relationship management (particularly across Strategy, Planning and Investment functions), translating their business needs into revenue driving opportunities for mutual success
- Experience mining survey-based data (e.g. MRI, Nielsen, Scarborough, Yougov, GWI, Audience Panel Surveys, etc.) for consumer audience insights (profiling, segmentation, targeting)
- Thrive in fast paced dynamic environment, be adept at dealing with ambiguity and have good communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and collaborate across cross-functional teams throughout an entire organization (both within your organization and within your clients)
- Works independently with little oversight to deliver on deadlines and ensure timeliness to customer response (all client communications are required in under 24 hours)
- Success managing customer quoting, contracts, and terms
- Ambition to look for opportunities to expand the scope of the role and take on new projects
- Fluency in business Spanish would be welcome
