POSITION SUMMARY
The Employee Benefits Account Coordinator is an entry level position, serves as the primary business contact for the client, providing customer service to accounts, as well as representing client needs and goals within the organization. In addition, the Account Coordinator will provide sales support to the Producer and service with the Account Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing account service-related documents such as meeting agendas, meeting reports, proposals and other client communications and correspondence.
- Participating in and documenting discussions during client meetings and conference calls.
- Reviewing vendor quotes.
- Verifying production specs.
- Creating and/or providing feedback on project estimates and timelines.
- Fielding and processing internal information requests.
- Maintaining current work-in-progress records and archives of past project information as appropriate.

EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma-Preferred College Degree
- 1-2 years’ experience in the health insurance industry
