Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
- Conduct regular patrols to maintain a visible presence and deter any unauthorized activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assess the situation, and take appropriate action.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities, incidents, and observations during shifts.
- Operate and monitor CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Provide assistance and support to visitors, employees, and contractors as needed.
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to minimize risks and maintain order.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns or incidents.
- Conduct investigations into any security breaches or incidents, documenting findings and recommending improvements.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a similar role as a Control Officer or in the field of security is preferred.
- Knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and best practices.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, Access Control systems, and other security equipment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle conflicts or emergencies professionally.
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus.
Skills:
- Proficient in using surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras.
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques to deescalate tense situations.
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
- Understanding of law enforcement principles and practices.
