What you'll bring to the team...
As an Accelerated Tax Preparermeans you will get hands on training and jump in getting your feet wet for sure. You will shadow an experienced preparer during your training and then will be the one to enter the data. You will learn on the go and the Tax knowledge will come as you grow. This position you will look like you have prepared taxes for years with the advance training you will receive.
Your Expertise
- Successful completion of the Jackson Hewitt Tax Course which is free.
- Pass the Tax Preparation Readiness Test
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Passion for providing extraordinary customer service.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, supportive environment
- Ability to work a minimum of 30-35 hours weekly throughout tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping or taxes.
