Tax Preparer

In this Tax Preparer role, you will be completing simple and complex State and Federal tax returns for individual and small business. How you will make an impact
- Provide factual data into Tax software application
- Complete and invoice for form preparation fees
- Assemble transaction tax returns by hand utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies
- Aid clients with incoming calls to direct tax questions and set appointments
- Touch base with clients to gather relevant information/documents
- Be responsible for other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned- Spreadsheet and database capabilities
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Prepare Tax Returns experience desired
- Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
- Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data
