Job Description
- Possesses a Masters’ of arts or science degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education or a related field.
- three years of experience in designing and/or implementing behavior modification intervention services
- Case supervisors are required to have relevant ABA experience and meet our advanced competencies.
- Case supervisors demonstrate a thorough understanding of DTT, Alternative Communication Systems, PRT, and other ABA strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency and experience with tablet devices
- Team Player/Flexible availability
- Fluent in Spanish
Pay Rate: $30.00-36.00
- Under the direction of a Clinical Manager, Provides supervision to assigned cases. Could be assigned BCBA supervision work but under the direction and oversight of a clinical manager
- Provides direction to behavior technician on program implementation
- Escalates program concerns to Clinical Manager
- Assists in making program changes in order to maximize client’s progress with approval from the Clinical Manager
- Effectively directs therapists on how to deliver each part of the client’s treatment plan.
- Effectively prioritizes the implementation of each client’s goals while giving consideration to each client’s individual profile, staff’s strengths and weaknesses, and the home environment.
- Provides parent education/training as assigned by the clinical manager
- Develops and writes progress reports under the direction of a clinical manager.
- Maintains electronic databook
- Provides direct intervention as needed
- Professional boundaries are set and maintained with both fellow staff members, funding sources, clients and any other outside agency.
- Supervisor maintains client’s confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
- Supervisor models a positive, client focused attitude which embodies the BHW CARES model while out in the field and in the office.
- Time sensitive material is submitted by the given deadline to all departments.
- Parents and other BHW staff members are up to date with each client’s progress toward goals.
- Understands and can clearly articulate Behavioral Health Work’s mission and values
- Conversant with program policies and procedures; familiar with and abides by the program’s Employee handbook and Ethical Code of Conduct
- Understands and can articulate BHW’s treatment approach and emphasizes the client first model in all aspects of the position
