Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a 3rd Shift Material Handler to join their team in Monroe, NC!
This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Your Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety procedures in operating equipment and performance of job duties
- Receive and scan delivered supplies, materials, and equipment into distribution center
- Confirm that delivered goods match purchase order specifications such as quantity, condition, and model number.
- Receive returned material stock items and determine suitability of material for restocking.
- Utilize computer to properly account for issues, returns, receipts of new materials, and associated back-orders.
- Enter inventory into Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts of inventory
- Ensure all products contain the appropriate barcode ID labels
- Stock inventory shelving in the appropriate bin
- Operate forklift, stock picker, and reach truck
- Maintain inventory for office supplies by re-ordering supplies when needed
- Enter any discrepancy with a product onto the Unable to Receive report (UTR), once sales resolves the issue produce the correct receipt for the item
- Meet Distribution productivity, quality, and accuracy standards
- Follow all established safety rules and regulations and utilize required safety equipment
- Report defective equipment or unsafe conditions to the supervisor
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition
Your Shift:
- Sunday - Thursday from 10:30pm - 6:30am
You Must Have:
- Prior warehouse/receiving experience
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and use a computer operating system to track inventory
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work as a team and independently
- Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments
- Familiarity with basic computer operations
- Math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions and decimals
Ability and willingness to perform repetitive tasks - Ability to follow safety procedures

We Would Also Prefer:
- High School diploma or the equivalent
- Experience in a production-related environment
- Experience with warehouse management systems
