Job Description:

Position Overview:
As a Part-Time 3D Printing Tech Assistant at ESC-TOY LTD, you will play a vital role in our production process. You will be responsible for sanding and curing 3D printed units to ensure they meet our quality standards. Additionally, you will assist in the painting process, contributing to the overall aesthetics of our products. This role is an entry-level position with the potential for advancement to a full-time position based on performance and company needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Sanding:

Carefully inspect and prepare 3D printed units for finishing.
Use appropriate tools and techniques to sand and smooth the surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish.
Pay close attention to detail to maintain consistency and precision in sanding.

Curing:

Follow curing procedures to ensure that 3D printed units are properly solidified.
Operate curing equipment and maintain curing records.
Monitor curing processes to prevent defects and ensure product integrity.

Painting Assistance:

Assist in the preparation and setup of painting equipment and materials.
Collaborate with the Art Assistant to apply coatings and finishes to 3D printed units.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the painting area.

Quality Control:

Participate in quality control checks to identify and address defects or imperfections.
Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors for resolution.
Ensure that finished products meet company quality standards.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate online records of work performed, including sanding, curing, and painting processes.
Keep track of inventory levels and notify the team when supplies need replenishment.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with equipment and inventory.
Follow company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of 3D Printing Technology is a plus but not required.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve standing, bending, and lifting.

Schedule:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours. As our business grows, there is potential for this role to transition into a full-time position with a more structured schedule.
