Paid, student internship available to assist the Network 3d Print & Innovation Lab
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Network Simulation Center in creating custom task trainers for educational and training purpose for users in the Network, which includes medical students, residents, nurses/nursing students, providers and more. Such task trainers include but not limited to: Foley trainers, central line trainers, wound management care, etc.
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Requires sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 2 hours at a time. Frequently uses fingers for typing, data entry, etc. Frequent use of hands. Extensively uses mouse as a computer entry device. Uses upper extremities to rarely lift up to 10 pounds. Occasionally stoops, bends or reaches shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation. Seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, peripheral vision and visual monotony. Spends considerable time viewing computer screen.
EDUCATION
Must be currently enrolled or recently completed a 4 year degree, preferably in Bioengineering or related field.
