POSITION PROFILE
The Implementation Manager (IM) is responsible for executing Ricoh's Additive Manufacturing (AM) offerings at client facilities. The implementation process includes coordination of all parties involved from the initiation stage through planning, design, and relevant construction process by assigning tasks and providing guidance for new, high-priority healthcare clients. The IM has project management and team leadership experience, is knowledgeable of hospital operations including IT, Radiology and Clinical staff, is a self-starter, has strong communication skills, is well organized, and is comfortable and experienced in contacting and conversing with various levels of management and clinical staff. The Implementation Manager manages and coordinates the activities of a designated project with a specific timeframe to ensure that objectives of the project are accomplished within specified timeframe and funding parameters. The Implementation Manager is familiar with Ricoh's AM practices, driving operational delivery standards for consistency and best practices. Collaboration and communication with executive management (both internal and external) regarding the status of projects will be expected. Also included is the appropriate use of process improvement / project management concepts and tools to plan, guide, monitor and report on project activities.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The implementation process must meet client contract, regulatory and ISO compliance, while achieving the customers' expectations and contract commitments.
  • Engagements will include working with the Ricoh AM business development team and 3rd party partners to develop the implementation plan based on the contractual commitments for the offering, executing the plan effectively to create a clear and concise handoff to the on-site team.
  • The onsite offering implementations will include working with the hospital and 3rd party suppliers to
  • designate and modify the appropriate space to ensure it meets all the required elements for the installation of equipment/furniture/technology, etc. Implementation of key software and cloud solutions and facilitation of staff and client training as part of the Ricoh program will be included.
  • Forge active partnerships with the AM Center of Excellence leadership team, the client key contact, 3rd
  • party partners and the entire Ricoh 3D for Healthcare team to ensure successful implementation and
  • steady state.
  • Contributes to pre contractual engagements by promoting implementation standards and expectations.
  • Develops planning documents for initiation of projects to gain approval.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project to ensure implementation progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
  • Ensures proper project scope, project planning, communications, resources, results, and overall
  • implementation quality - develop metrics, goals, and commitments for assigned projects / initiatives.
  • Clearly communicates and clarifies purpose, goals, and expectations in a way that positively influences
  • people and events.
  • Coordinate efforts and set priorities with project team and management to meet project objectives.
  • Work with business operations resources to solicit input for changes to processes and improve
  • implementation deployment approaches.
  • Regularly review project metrics and timeline to ensure appropriate progress.
  • Provide project direction to supporting team members such as IT, production, quality and regulatory
  • leaders, and others as applicable to ensure progress and accomplish objectives.
  • Provide leadership for implementation of process changes by working with AM team - drive change
  • management and issue resolution related to functional process area of responsibility.
  • Hold self and supporting team members responsible for individual tasks assigned and overall project.
  • Encourage and build positive relationships and communicate effectively with all co-workers and internal customers.
  • Builds constructive and effective relationships; uses diplomacy and tact; truly values people; can defuse even high-tension situations comfortably.
  • Drives implementation of standard processes through the business operations as directed by Director.
  • Prepares presentations and attend operations reviews as directed by Director.
  • Travel to client facilities, operation start-ups, and other meetings as required.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)
  • Four-year college degree, business degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years' experience in client project implementation/project management roles.
  • Experience with working as project manager the clinical application required.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed project teams.
  • Experience with a regulated environment preferred.
  • Experience with Additive Manufacturing processes a plus.
