3D Concrete Printing Technician

Position Overview:

X-Hab 3D is seeking a Part-Time to Full Time Technical and Operations (T&O) Assistant to support these activities at our 3D Concrete Printing facility. The T&O Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the facility by assisting with operating and maintaining our 3D Concrete Printing (3DCP) equipment and advanced concrete composite mixtures, as well as performing operations and maintenance activities within the workspace. This position offers a great opportunity for individuals seeking part-time to full-time work and learning experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating and maintaining the 3DCP equipment
• Assisting in the setup and preparation of equipment, tools, and materials required for 3D Concrete Printing projects.
• Supporting the team during Concrete Printing operations by ensuring a steady supply of materials, monitoring equipment, and assisting with any required adjustments or troubleshooting.
• Conducting routine inspections of machinery, tools, and equipment to identify any maintenance needs, and cleaning and lubricating parts as necessary.
• Properly disposing of waste materials in accordance with company guidelines and environmental regulations.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of facilities, equipment and processes to support the team and customers
• Adhering to all safety procedures to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Completion of at least two years of college or vocational school; an engineering or other technology related field is preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and equipment used in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve repetitive lifting (50 lbs. or more), bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual with the ability to work a flexible part-time schedule.

Note: Part Time candidates for this position must be able to commit at least 20 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling based on project needs.
