Salary:

Description of Position: The 340B Coordinator plays a key role in overseeing various aspects of Monarch’s 340B programs’ success, ensuring compliance, quality improvement, and optimal patient care. Responsibilities include staff management, patient pharmacy compliance assessment, coordination of Co-Pay reviews, and implementation of early intervention strategies for HIV, HBV, and HCV. Collaborating with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies, the Coordinator contributes to the development of personalized intervention plans and oversee the 340B Drug Pricing Program, conducting regular audits for adherence. The role involves coordinating quality assurance activities, participating in site visits, and preparing monthly reports, fostering efficiency, compliance, and excellence in program outcomes.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Oversee staff hiring, training, scheduling, supervision, and evaluation.
  2. Provide direction and oversight for compliance, quality improvement, risk management, and related activities.
  3. Assess and report on patient pharmacy compliance.
  4. Coordinate Co-Pay reviews and approvals for partnering sites monthly.
  5. Review service site documentation compliance.
  6. Follow up on program and service performance improvement plans.
  7. Coordinate quality assurance review activities, internal audits, and data analysis.
  8. Participate in site visits, audits, programmatic monitoring, committees, and meetings.
  9. Develop and implement early identification and intervention strategies for HIV, HBV, and HCV.
  10. Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies for early intervention efforts.
  11. Conduct assessments and develop personalized intervention plans for individuals affected by HIV, HBV, and HCV.
  12. Oversee the administration, compliance, and optimization of the 340B Drug Pricing Program.
  13. Collaborate with pharmacy staff, healthcare providers, and vendors for program efficiency and compliance.
  14. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to 340B program guidelines.
  15. Liaise with pharmacies, prepare monthly reports for ESP, HRSA, and management team.

 

Additional Duties:

  1. Attend all interdisciplinary staff meetings.
  2. Responsible for following all program policies, procedures, workflows, and completing program deliverables.
  3. Abide by all state, health district and agency policies regarding confidentiality of client information.
  4. Assist with rapid HIV, STD and Hep C screenings as needed.


Training Program:

  1. 340B University
  2.  FDOH HIV/AIDS 500-501 The Basics of HIV/AIDS Counseling, Testing, and Linkage
  3. All Agency assigned trainings

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Personal Qualifications:

  1. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications and presentation skills
  2. Electronic Medical Record system knowledge
  3. Cooperates as a team player
  4. Possesses problem solving and decision-making abilities.
  5. Ability to work without close supervision.
  6. Utilizes good time management techniques.
  7. Follows through to completion of assigned tasks.
  8. Experienced in working with indigent and culturally diverse populations.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft suites
  10. Experience/skill with Excel and analyzing and reporting data

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business, Accounting, Finance or Healthcare Administration
  2. Knowledge of compliance and regulations related to the 340B drug pricing program
  3. Experience in 340B Administration, audit, healthcare, pharmacy purchasing, data analysis, or healthcare inventory management
  4. Bilingual: English/Spanish or English/Creole
