2Nd/3Rd Shift Maintenance Supervisor

Extension is seeking a 2nd shift and a 3rd shift Maintenance Supervisor for a Direct Hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Darien, WI.

Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager of Maintenance you will lead a team of hourly mechanics in performing maintenance work across production lines and affiliated equipment, building and grounds.
Other primary duties include: ownership of the plant's PM/PdM activities; leadership of equipment performance tracking and repair/improvement prioritization; technical guidance of mechanical craftsmen; and engineering support of maintenance and capital projects.

• Plan and schedule work force for utilization of employees to meet our business needs.
• Train, motivate and direct employees to adhere to safe work methods and standard procedures.
• Purchase of supplies and repair parts with regard to quality
• You will assume full ownership of predictive and preventive maintenance activities including oil analysis, vibration analysis, engine-compressor analysis, and infrared thermography.
• Involves all associates in a team concept, keeping personnel safety, food safety and uptime as the top priorities.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required, Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical engineering or other technical degree program
• 3-5 years of previous maintenance experience
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blue prints, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate figures.
• Experience with Preventative Maintenance programs. Knowledge of Electronic and Electrical principals.

Salary Information

• $80,000-$90,000
