2nd shift Ward Secretary

New Wage Scale with generous weekend shift diff of $7/hr for hour worked between 11pm Friday Night thru Monday Morning 7am.

• Must be CNA
• Review Admission information for accuracy and completeness.
• Organize medical record into established order for permanent filing.
• note deficiencies to be completed by physician and professional staff
• maintain follow up record for completeness
• upon discharge, assemble and review medical record for completeness
• ensure receipt of records of residents discharged residents and retrieve any prior records for inclusion with current records.
• responsible for implementing discharge summaries with physician and staff
• file medical records of discharged residents according to established policies
• Ascertain existence of medical record policies and procedures.
• Maintain a documented, organized system readily accessible for authorized staff
• Prepare reports as requested
• Maintain confidentiality at all times
• Experience in Medical Transcription a plus
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology required.
• Familiar with reading physician orders and medications.
