Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated 2nd ShiftSr. Team Lead/Assistant Supervisor to join our team at our facility located in Jeffersonville, MI, 47130. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of employees during the second shift, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a team of employees during the second shift to meet deadlines and production expectations with little or no supervision.
- Apply your leadership and people management skills to motivate and develop team members, and manage performance and disciplinary process.
- Direct and assign work to hourly production personnel to coordinate production activities that support priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
- Communicate with key members of the team regarding the procution schedule and resolves issues that may affect the planned priorities.
- Communicate and facilitate a safe work culture, ensuring compliance with all company safety/environmental and housekeeping policies.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate tasks and provide feedback to team members
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and analyze production data
- Utilize your quality inspection experience to ensure products meet the required standards
- Utilize your recruiting and training experience to assist in the hiring and onboarding of new team members
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience as a Production Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor, Sr. Team or similar role.
Safety first mindset.
