Job Description
Our client is looking for a second shift Quality Inspector to join their dynamic Quality team! Our client is an industry leader in the metal stamping industry, providing services to the automotive, appliance, and building industries.
The Quality Inspector will be in charge of ongoing inspection of the current production materials, making sure quality standards are being met.
Successful candidate will have a strong background of quality inspection to include understanding of blueprint reading, inspection tools, and GD&T.
Responsibilities:
- Ongoing inspection of the current production materials.
- Use Micrometers, calipers, and indicators to confirm specifications on material
- Alert a supervisor when parts are not meeting the set quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED with three years of work experience in a manufacturing quality role.
- Ability to use a variety of inspection tools: Micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc..
- Print reading is a must, understands GD&T.
- Attention to detail.
- Computer literate.
- Good attendance record.
Physical Requirements:
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
- Employees must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
