Job Description
OBJECTIVE: To learn the fundamentals of the position quickly, work well with other QA group members, and be an excellent technical support and resource for 3rd shift production. Further, to promote that food safety and process quality are in compliance.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Minimum High School diploma with good Science and Math ability.
2. Must have the ability to assess situation and develop a solution.
3. Computer experience preferred.
4. Must be a fast learner to understand food safety and micro.
5. Good attention to detail.
6. Excellent attendance record.
7. Must have the ability to adjust to changing work demands and priorities in a fast paced environment.
8. Excellent team player.
9. Excellent communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. 2nd shift support for production.
2. Complete various laboratory and analytical testing including: pH, solids, Micro, butterfat testing.
3. Completion of computerized tracking forms and incident reports.
4. Conduct various product line and warehouse audits.
5. Review plant paper work.
6. Share in lab retain management and inventory.
7. Floor sample pick up.
8. Will be working with seafood testing and sampling.
9. Additional duties as needed.
