**We are looking for 1st and 2nd Shift Hilo/Forklift experience**
**Hiring for 4/1/24**
Bradford White is looking to incorporate Machine Ops, Assemblers/Welders for our Middleville, MI location.
In your specific role you will be working with a team of train assemblers, Machine Operators, and welders who will train and assist you until acclimation to this new role.
Pay Rates –
1st shift $18.25.
2nd Shift $18.25 + $1.05 (shift premium).
3rd shift $18.25 + $1.00 (shift premium).
Location: Middleville, MI
What to Expect:
As a Machine Operator for Bradford White, you will be a part of a leading world class assembly line that takes our water heaters from materials phase to finish product phase. You can expect to job shadow and be trained to ensure your success with Bradford White.
In your specific role you will be working with a team of train assemblers, Machine Operators, and welders who will train and assist you until acclimation to this new role.
You will also be required to follow PPE enforced guidelines to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you.
Path to Success in This Role –
Wrapping/securing-wrapping/cable tying product.
Testing product using flammable materials.
Cutting Steel
Drilling holes into steel
Regularly loading product onto hydraulic press.
Using a base press to secure product.
Ability to work in a fast-paced cluttered environment.
Ability to perform changeovers when product needs shift.
Be detail oriented and on the lookout for abnormalities and defects.
Be able to regularly lift up to 50+ lbs using the upper body and proper instruction. (dependent upon department and specified product line).
Physical Job Requirements-
Regular lifting of objects up to 50+ lbs using upper body strength
Use of hands and upper body for extended periods of time.
Standing in one location for long periods of time.
Cutting of steel (dept. upon dept.)
Fabrication of steel (dependent upon dept.)
Securing product using an industrial cable tie machine.
Frequent working with electrical equipment (dependent upon placement).
Testing water tanks ignition (using flammable materials).
Being aware of Hilo traffic when crossing all corridors.
