Machine Operator - Door Shop

Role Overview:
As a Machine Operator on our Door Shop Production Line, you will be an integral part of our assembly line production. You'll operate and troubleshoot various machines that are the heart of the company, while gaining hands-on experience in building and framing interior doors. Your communication skills will be crucial as you assist team members and coordinate door movement down the line. You'll learn to use hand and power tools effectively, familiarize yourself with different materials and trim used in door manufacturing, and contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Position Reports to: Line Lead
Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to safety rules and maintain a clean workspace.
- Ensure Quality of Machines Product (Start up, set frequency)
- Operate and troubleshoot machines within a fast-paced assembly line production setting.
- Maintain efficient execution of responsibility.
- Learn how to construct and frame interior and exterior doors.
- Communicate to team members regarding doors in production.
- Coordinate with door prep to maintain consistent progress on the line.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve the production process.
- Acquire hands-on experience working with various materials and trim.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Ensure adherence to safety rules and maintain a clean workspace.
- Be prepared to work overtime if required.
- Achieve Daily Production Targets set forth by Ops Manager
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in operating and troubleshooting machines is preferred.
- Knowledge of LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures.
- Consistent attendance record.
- Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, background screening
- CNC Experience is a Plus
