Salary Range $28.00 - $30.00 Depending on Experience

WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Leads the Block Plant production crew and performs a variety of personnel functions including training and coaching.
- Provides direction and feedback to workers during shifts.
- Verifies that all production machines are running properly and safely.
- Checks product quality and discards sub-standard product.
- Operates batching system to ensure quality products.
- Performs all mold changes as required.
- Performs daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Completes all paperwork and inspections as required by company standards.
- Keeps work area clean and free of hazards.
- Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- Predictable and regular attendance is required, with possible weekends and rotating shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Block Plant "Dry Cast" Besser operation.
- Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
- On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
- Production line experience preferred.
- Ability to operate forklift, single and double, and any other equipment required to perform duties.
- Manufacturing production machinery experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to listen and follow directions.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees and/or customers/vendors, and superiors.
- Predictable and Regular attendance is required, with possible weekends and rotating schedules.
