The 2nd shift CNA team members at Christian Care Retirement Community provides comprehensive evening care to residents. Key duties include assisting residents with personal hygiene during evening routines, including bathing, oral care, and toileting.
The CNA helps serve dinner and ensures residents have everything they need, including passing out linens and ice water. They respond promptly to call lights, providing timely assistance to residents as requested. The CNA also performs additional tasks like tidying rooms, changing beds, and escorting residents as needed.
Excellent customer service skills are required to address residents' needs in a friendly and patient manner. The ability to lift, stand for long periods, and perform physical care tasks is essential. Previous CNA experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Overall, the 2nd shift CNA will need to be able to provide compassionate, quality care to our residents.
Additional Information/benefits:
- Pay for our 2nd Shift CNA's starts out at $20.00/hour + an additional $0.25 per year of qualifying experience (cap of 15 years.)
