Job Objective:
Assists Operations Foreman with supervision of assigned field operations, maintenance of pipeline equipment, projects and planning, tracking, and controlling daily expenses/costs. Monitors daily pipeline operations and supervises field operators and contract employees. Assumes Operation Foreman's duties in their absence.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures safe operations of pipeline facilities.
- Initiates and implements solutions to problems.
- Supervises field operators and contract employees.
- Supervises maintenance and construction projects.
- Supervises regulatory-driven obligations.
- Initiates daily reports on assigned projects to include tracking costs.
- May be required to work remote locations.
- Adheres to the company's values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.
- Supports company vision and mission.
- Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.
- Conducts morning crew meetings to outline daily crew needs.
Other Job Responsibilities:
- Performs all other duties as assigned by Production Foreman/Operations Manager
- Supervises personnel and provides assistance with conducting employee performance evaluations.
- Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Five (5) years minimum experience in the operation of oil and gas facilities.
- Ability to work at 14 day on 14 day off rotational schedule.
- Mastery of mechanical skills.
- Ability to accurately solve problems.
- Ability to work long hours in order to cover/monitor assigned field assets.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information into an organized and presentable manner.
- Self-starter with proven leadership skills, team player, comfortable working under pressure, and dedicated to developing workforce.
- Good management, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in the use and application of the following computer software:
- Preferred: Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook).
Education Requirements:
- Required: Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability, and skill to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
