The East Regional Systems Engineer team provides top-notch technical assistance to our account teams and customers. If you love to stay up to date with the latest industry trends and have a knack for connecting the dots to help solve challenging analytic problems, this is the opportunity you’ve been looking for!
As an intern you might:
- Work with JMP application engineers to provide deliverable in support of customer data challenges.
- Research industry trends around data analytics in various domains.
- Generate deliverables from research information above to create case studies using JMP applications.
- Explore avenues to link your summer intern activities to your academic program of study.
What we're looking for
- You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating prior to December 2024.
- You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
- Have strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Be a leader. You’re the one sitting in the front row of the class.
- Embrace technology. You geek out over the latest and greatest!
- Targeted majors: Chemistry, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Biochemistry, or Industrial Engineering.
- Exposure to Statistical software or principles helpful.
- Familiarity with instrumental analysis techniques.
- Interested in applied science in industry. If you are interested in the world of science and technology and how it gets commercialized into real products, you’ll fit right in.
Internship dates: May 14, 2024 – August 2, 2024. We can be flexible on start date if your university is on a quarter system.
