Program Introduction
As G&S works to drive ever-more meaningful Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) progress within our organization and industry, we are honored to partner with NCCU in a unique and immersive internship experience for students currently enrolled in a mass communications or marketing program.
The candidate awarded with the internship and the university will be notified by May 15. Senior and junior candidates are preferred. The internship program will run from June through the end of August and affords interns the opportunity to immerse themselves in the G&S culture through meaningful project work that will turn knowledge into real-world experience in a business communications agency setting.

This partnership will introduce the selected intern to a wide range of agency services including Branding & Purpose, Corporate Reputation & ESG, Creative Storytelling, Digital Marketing & Insights, Employee Engagement, Market Research & Consulting, Media Relations and Paid Media.

- Help analyze digital marketing metrics (e.g., website traffic, social media engagement, conversion rates) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for new marketing campaigns and digital initiatives.
- Assist with market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Participate in the media activation phase by assisting with buying guideline creation, generating and issuing IOs (Insertion Orders) and creative spec development across all media types.

- Setup, execute and monitor pacing for self-service digital, paid search and paid social media plans.
- Assist with reporting for paid media buys.

As part of the G&S internship experience, interns will have the opportunity to work alongside our corporate and client service teams in a collaborative environment, gaining important foundational skills necessary to compete in today's marketplace.
