Project Outline:The internship will provide training activities that support company goals as well as developmental opportunities through broad-based hands-on experience and mentorship which will integrate the interns into various medical strategic initiatives. Interns will gain experience within a focused Takeda therapeutic area through field medical teams and gain exposure to field medical excellence to focus on leadership and career development. The intern will have a project throughout the 12 weeks that will support Takeda's therapeutic area medical strategy and tactics. The project will involve cross functional collaboration, creating strategic framework, engaging others for gaps and needs assessment, presenting to stakeholders and additional competencies to ensure success. The position will be remote.

Experience performing searches of medical and scientific literature
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and Outlook
Ability to work effectively in virtual and cross-functional teams
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Takeda does not provide sponsorship for internship positions.
- Available to work full-time (40 hours per week), within the core business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.
- Undergraduate, Graduate, PhD, MD student in life/health sciences with completion of a minimum of one year of university studies.
- Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internshipwith Takeda.

The hourly pay rate range is $20.00 per hour - $46.00 per hour. The final pay rate offered for this internship may consider several factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
