Regulatory Affairs U.S. Advertising andPromotion Internship Overview

Envision spending your summer working with energetic colleagues and inspirational leaders, all while gaining world-class experience in one of the most dynamic organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a reality for AbbVie Interns.

 

The Regulatory Affairs U.S. Advertising andPromotion Intern will join the Regulatory Affairs U.S. Advertising and Promotion (USAP) Standards Team. The Standards Team leads USAP through department-wide initiatives, influences process improvements, and fosters the review of compliant promotional and R&D communications. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

         Learn the FDA Regulations on Drug Advertising & Promotion

         Understand the detailed USAP activities

         Create reports, including metrics, department highlights, and communications

         Attend meetings and create presentation materials for USAP All Staff Meetings (ASM)

         Create templates to standardize communication

         Review current processes and assess areas for improvement

Minimum Qualifications 

         Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Master's degree, PhD, or PharmD. Graduate degree focus in the sciences, communication, or other related field

         Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship

         Expected graduation date between December 2024 - July 2025

         Demonstrated interest in U.S. Advertising and Promotion

         Strong written and verbal communication skills

         Curious and driven
