Dallas International School (DIS) is accredited by ISAS (Independent Schools Association of the Southwest), France's Ministry of Education, and the International Baccalaureate Organization.
With 686 students of over 30 nationalities, DIS is an international school on a human scale and the only one with a French and multilingual curriculum in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, a city of seven million inhabitants which is in full demographic and economic expansion. DIS is proud to be one of the few schools globally to offer both the IB's Bilingual and Advanced Bilingual Diploma programs in a variety of languages. In addition to English and French, other languages currently taught in the school are Spanish, German and Mandarin Chinese.
The school offers a rigorous curriculum integrating the best practices of French and American education. Upon completion of the French Baccalaureate or the IB Diploma program, our students go to college in the United States or internationally in countries such as France, Canada, the United Kingdom, Spain or Australia, among others.

Job duties include (but are not limited to):
Coordinate in collaboration with the Dean of Students all activities and events related to students such as but not limited to: Homecoming Dance, Halloween Boum, Brevet Ceremony, Thanksgiving potluck, Valentine’s Day Boum, Prom, CM2 Graduation, Graduation, etc.
Serve as one of the Student Government Association (SGA) advisors
Coordinate Class Delegate and SGA elections and meetings in conjunction with the Dean of Students
Serve as the point person for Clubs and Activities
Coordinate the Club Fair and maintain the master roster, calendar, and keep track of all documents related to clubs
Serve as the point person for Community Service including, communicating with students about opportunities and keeping track of service logs
Manage the school’s House System by tracking house points, assign incoming students to a house, coordinate House Huddles, Field Days, etc.
Serve as one of the recess and lunch duty monitors
Support Carpool as needed
Substitution as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
At least 3 years of professional experience in a school setting or related environment
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or completion of four years of college-level coursework
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Student Council or student club advisor
Experience coordinating community service projects
Strong written and oral communication in English
Experience using Blackbaud Information System
Bilingual in English/French
