- GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- Under the direction of the registered nurse, the LPN provides nursing care in accordance with departmental and organizational policies and procedures. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in coordinating patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.
- EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Current licensure as an LPN in the State of Iowa.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support, ACLS, and PALS required.
- WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- One year LPN nursing experience preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills. CPR certification required.
- Must have the ability to demonstrate self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others. Maintains commitment and enthusiasm to goal achievement.
- Excellent team player and communication skills required.
Salary Range
$25.34 - $35.47
