1st Shift Shipping Coordinator EXPERIENCE NEEDED Mon-Fri $26

A furniture manufacturer in Lewisville, TX is looking to add a self-motivated and upbeatcoordinator to their Shipping Department.

Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8am - 5pm (Must be flexible depending on production needs)

Pay: Interview based starting at $26 depending on experience

As a Shipping Coordinator you will be responsible for handling the day-to-day activities within a fast-paced manufacturing operation with the expectations of prioritizing tasks to meet business demand, problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform at your best under tight deadlines. Your responsibilities may include:

• Excel - will be used when completing internal reports for management and warehouse teams
• Oversee the shipping process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
• Preparing shipping documents - bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels
• Collaborate with internal teams to prioritize orders and ensure proper inventory levels
• Utilize order fulfillment systems and software to track and manage shipments
• Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and condition of products
• Customer service: handling calls/emails from multiple clients and transportation carriers to ensure smooth transit and being able to provide customer with solutions in case of last-minute issues

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• MUST PASS: DRUG TEST, BACKGROUND, E-VERIFY
• Excel - will be used when completing internal reports for management and warehouse teams
• Previous experience in a shipping or logistics coordinator role (REQUIRED - at least 2 yrs)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors/clients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
