198: Web Developer - Contract To Hire

Our client, one of the largest health insurers in the country, has asked us to provide them with a super-strong Web Developer to work with their Analytics Team to build web interfaces for data science models.

THE WORK: The work includes building web interfaces for data science models that will be accessed by business users.

LOCATION: This client is located in Detroit, MI. While this is largely a remote role, the client would strongly prefer a candidate local to the Detroit area who can come into the office when necessary.

MODE:Contract to Hire - assuming strong job performance, our client anticipates hiring the candidate to their permanent staff after three months of contract service

DURATION: The contract period is expected to run for 3 months, after which our client expects this role to convert to full-time.

REQUIRED: Applicants must be very strong in the following skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience with front-end libraries like React JS, SASS, BootStrap, jQuery

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Python-based web frameworks (e.g. Flask and Django)

• SQL

• Hands-on experience with Containerization

• Spark

• Experience with Unix shell scripting

DESIRED: In addition, it would be great if you had some background in:

• Health Insurance

• Data analytics

COMPENSATION:$70/hr (1099 or C2C). Compensation for the permanent role will be between $110-120K.
