- Develop software design documents used to create and review code for various industrial control-based platforms and projects.
- Develop safety analysis documents used in safety critical applications.
- Develop and maintain software code for Rockwell, Siemens and Beckhoff PLCs.
- Develop and maintain C/C++ code on industrial embedded controllers.
- Develop and maintain software for industrial Graphical User Interfaces.
- Develop and perform control system acceptance test plans.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial controls or the entertainment ride and show industry.
- Proficient in PLC programming and C/C++.
- Experience in safety related Control Systems.
- Experience in software development planning and documentation.
- Experience in version control and collaboration software tools.
- Knowledge of industrial network protocols, AS-I, INTERBUS, ControlNet, Profinet, CIP and Ethernet IP.
- Experience in software testing and commissioning.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience in developing risk assessments and designs using IEC/ISO functional safety standards.
- Familiar with IEC - 61131 using Ladder Diagram and Structured Text.
- Experience in safety control system design using safety PLCs and safety devices.
- Knowledge of industrial control system hardware and system architecture.
- Knowledge of I/O and Supervisory Network systems.
- Preferred Education - Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
