We're Looking For A:YouTube Story Producer to ideate, write, and produce a variety of longform content for YouTube with the goal of launching several new YouTube Series for brands in the health & wellness, beauty, and pet industry. This role would report to the head of the YouTube team and collaborate with the video and storytelling teams to produce content that can support multiple teams across the company. This role is a hybrid position: remote work allowed but required to be on set for shoot days and critical pre-production meetings - acting as director for all YouTube shoots.
Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid)
What You'll Be Doing:
- Own the full process of ideation, writing, and direction of new YouTube series content.
- Establish ongoing collaborative processes and communications with Storytelling & Video Production Teams, and celebrity Gurus, in order to seamlessly deliver YouTube series videos.
- Organize, lead and contribute ideas in YouTube Team brainstorming sessions.
- Identify trending topics within our brand categories and capitalize on trends quickly to market new ideas faster.
- Develop video topics and ideas that take into account each brand's identity and audience.
- Create multiple engaging video series that run at least 10 episodes in lengths.
- Log and track progress of all your projects - providing regular updates to key stakeholders and resolving issues as they arise.
- Work with the YouTube team to analyze how videos are performing and retune new episodes to meet needs.
- Share performance of and update brand managers on performance of new video series for potential repurposing into advertising creatives

- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
- Ability to take constructive feedback and implement notes
- Highly organized and able to self-prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Ability to wear multiple hats, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience with typical production protocol as well as etiquette when dealing with talent
- Comfortable directing talent on set
- Strong portfolio with a proven track record of creating series content that has made an impact on YouTube
- 5 years of experience writing and producing YouTube series for branded content
- 5 Years writing content for brand YouTube and social media channels.
- 3 years of experience writing scripts for YouTube Series
- Knowledgeable in social media and what works on those platforms - YouTube, Instagram, Facebook
- Proficient with OS X, Google apps Experience with production protocol and etiquette when dealing with talent
- Experience in managing project trackers
- 5 years of experience directing for YouTube TikTok preferred
- Highly adept at working with talent and non-talent alike to get the best possible outcome for the final product preferred
- Basic understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro to be able to look through selects and leaves notes for editors preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in related field

The anticipated salary range for this position is $83,200 - $111,000, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.
Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
