As a Youth Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and maintaining a safe, supportive, and positive trauma-informed environment.
- Practicing compassion while empowering youth and maintaining professional boundaries.
- Collaborating constructively with staff and external partners.
- Applying program expectations and behavior modification plans consistently.
- Maintaining open communication with youth's treatment teams.
- Providing individualized support, crisis intervention, and daily living skills.
- Participating in and facilitating youth groups.
- Acting as a sponsor for assigned youth to promote prosocial behavior.
- Transporting youth to appointments and activities.
- Ensuring compliance with policies and legal obligations.
- Maintaining timely records in Salesforce and other data systems.
- Assisting with the youth intake process.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development.
Professional Qualifications:
Required:
- 2 years of college education or H.S. Diploma (or equivalent) with 1 year of equivalent work experience.
- Availability for Evening Shift (3pm - 11pm)
- Commitment to continued education of social justice.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Respect for confidentiality and maintaining dignity and integrity.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccine or ability to receive one within seven weeks of hire.
- Ability to perform various physical activities, including lifting.
Preferred:
- Bilingual: English/Spanish is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Prior experience working with youth or vulnerable populations.
- Customer service experience.

Benefits and Compensation: $22.14 per hour
