Full-time swing-shift position (Thursday through Monday) available working with 12-17-year-old at risk-youth in a short-term residential shelter. At this facility, we have the pleasure of providing a safe and positive place to stay, connecting youth to community resources and participating in case planning. As a member of our friendly team, you will supervise youth activities, support youth in day to day routines, utilize behavior management skills, and keep accurate records. Training in these areas will be provided upon hire, and continued training is offered. This is a great opportunity to gain experience to support careers in behavioral health, school counseling, and other non-profit or government social service positions.
Qualifications:
-One year of paid experience working in group residential care OR two years of college studies
-Staff are required to pass a DCYF criminal background check and drug test. YFA Connections is a federally funded agency, therefore, we are a drug free facility.
-Candidates are required to complete paid orientation training, including CPR/First Aid.
-Candidates will be at least 21 years of age.
