Our client is seeking Youth Care Workers to provide guidance and support to children in a safe, structured environment in the Mountain Home, TX area.
AVAILABLE HOURS/COMPENSATION
*Two days per week from 6:30a-10:30p with the addition of 1 weekend day per week. Flexibility with days to be considered.
*DOQ $17.-$19./hr
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
Responsible for the daily care and supervision of children ensuring their health, safety, and well-being is protected at all times. Providing guidance and support of children in a safe, structured environment that meets the needs of the child/children while maintaining professional and acceptable boundaries at all times.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Must be at least 21 years of age.
* Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum of one year of prior experience as direct care staff in a residential treatment center serving children in the child welfare system is preferred.
* Experience working with children diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and behavioral and emotional disorders is preferred.
