The Denver Public Library (DPL) is a growing urban library system that serves the City & County of Denver. DPL sees more than 4 million visitors every year across its 27 locations, serves Denver's most vulnerable communities through outreach and mobile services, hosts thousands of programs a year and manages a collection of more than 1.4 million physical and digital materials. In our kids enrichment programs, we provide opportunities for kids ages 5-12 to have fun trying new things, develop their confidence, and practice problem-solving and social-emotional skills while connecting with others. Activities may include games, creative projects, homework help, and more.
What You'd Do
Be a part of a supportive team creating welcoming library spaces for neighborhood kids. Support and assist library staff in planning and running enrichment programs for kids ages 5-12. Set up and clean up programs. Build positive relationships with staff and all customers (kids, teens, and adults). The program you'll be assisting with is our after school program.

- Ability to thrive working with people from all backgrounds and age groups.
- Ability to commit to working 10 hours weekly each week that our kids program is in session. The schedule is M-F 3:30pm-5:30pm.
