- Maintain exemplary, personal walk with the Lord. Daily renewing first love for Christ.
- To shepherd & equip the female Young Adults.
- Help pair each female leader with an older women mentor.
- Be the point person for new Young Adults looking to get connected.
- Provide general administrative task support to the Director of NXT-YA.
- Set up and prepare for Friday night NXT-UP Community Group.
- Set up and prepare for Tuesday night NXT-YA Community Group.
- Oversee the administrative components of the NXT-YA worship team: structure, scheduling, and personnel.
- Execute communications and social media plan.
- Support any external events such as retreats and mission trips.
- Explore and implement additional training options for NXT-YA leaders in coordination with Director.
- Help cultivate a fun, inviting environment for the community group times (Tuesday/Friday)
- Investigate and implement in coordination with Director creative ways to empower Young Adults to help with various administration duties (i.e. set up team, food team, etc.).
- A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing personal relationship with Him that meets all qualifications for leadership referenced in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1 (except as a female, married or single).
- Exhibit a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
- Commitment to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
- Exhibit a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations.
- Exemplify the humility of Christ and a loving, servants heart in all facets of leadership.
- Consistent attendance and participation in the life of the church and the Young Adult ministries.
- Demonstrate a personal passion to minister to people within the context of the local church.
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and volunteers.
- Self-motivated and able to initiate projects, work independently and troubleshoot.
- Possess a high attention to detail.
