BASIC PURPOSE:
This is a brief, undetailed, but specific statement of what the job is. .
Receiving tankers, frozen trailers, dry trailers and barrels and moving them to proper places with in Production and Warehouse while achieving maximum usage of leased yard equipment through working with Shipping/Logistics, Finance and Production Planning. Move received materials to and from manufacturing areas and shipping areas while maintaining accuracy, quality, and shipments in a timely manner. Accountable for the placement and delivery of product. Maintain and operate hoist and yard equipment per safety and maintenance guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. . Understand Yard Dog operation and responsible use of equipment.
2. Complete trailer movement log to assist management in understanding the daily movements of trailers throughout the facility and measure Yard performance KPI's.
3. Completing Daily Yard Check recording trailers, fuel levels and state of use.
4. Receiving tankers, frozen trailers, dry trailers and barrels and moving them to proper places with in Production and Warehouse.
5. Ensuring Tankers are weighed in and out. Starting a weight ticket if one had not been started previously. Completing weight tickets begun by others.
6. Move loads of received materials efficiently between production, warehouse areas & shipping area.
7. Move onsite trailers in/out of loading docks as needed.
8. Ensuring loaded reefer trailers are fueled. Monitor fuel level. Retrieving fuel and then fueling up trailers.
9. Provide excellent service to internal customers with effective deliveries/pickups by utilizing good teamwork.
10. Check every load to ensure properly prepared by the production for movement to warehouse area.
11. Straighten and clean up trailers in front/back yard, outside warehouse area and grounds.

12. Assist in training team members.
13. Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Warehouse Lead/Supervisor/Manager.
14. Load, unload & block trucks properly and complete truck paperwork.
15. Follow CPF policies and procedures.
16. Follow GMP rules.
17. Report unsafe conditions to Warehouse Lead/Supervisor/Manager.
18. Suggest improvements in safety, quality and efficiency.
19. Operate time card system properly.
20. Communicate with previous and following shift regarding equipment operation and production status.
21. Assist in inventory and cycle counts.
22. Responsible for making sure the Company is in compliance with Florida CDL & Federal DOT.
23. Must help out in freezer when required.
24. If forklift certified, you can be asked to use a forklift to assist in the following:
Loading or unloading of product
Assist in receiving loads documenting actual qty received vs qty on bill of lading.
Completion of cube sheets and documentation of proper movement of product from production line to trailer.

Education and/or Experience

Must have current Class A CDL license.

Ability to competently and accurately operate a hand held Warehouse Management System Scanning Device.
