Transit Van Driver/Independent Contractor For Yard Jockey Position

Capstone Logistics is seeking Experienced Independent Couriers to provide excellent, reliable service, using a company Sprinter van.All I/C's applying for this position must undergo extensive training covering safe driving practices & defensive driving techniques. In addition, All I/C's applying for this position must adhere to the practices, rules, and guidelines set forth by the Partner(s) you’re servicing.

I/C's will operate sprinter vans acting as a Yark Jockey/Yard Mashall for a major Grocery retailer. Some duties include but not limited to: Moving vans from Yard to Fulfillment center, cleaning inside and outside of vans, assist Delivery drivers if vehicle were to go down while on a Route.

This Grocery retailer is well established with lots of opportunity! other opportunities include operating a Transit Van for residential deliveries or warehouse duties (organizing totes) .

Pay range: $20-$22 per hour.

There are multiple shifts available; Shift 1 has a 7:00am start. Shift 2 has a 10:00am start. All shifts are 8 hours long.

Easy Requirements:

18 years of age or older

A valid driver’s license and current insurance

A CLEAN Motor Vehicle Report

Must have and be able to use a smart phone

No call/no shows, Repeated Callouts, without coverage, will result in termination.

Must have weekend availability.

Must have Monday to Friday availability.
