Yard Attendant

Guardian Fleet Services Inc., a leader in providing superior professional towing, recovery, and specialized transportation services, is seeking a dedicated Yard Attendant to join our team. The Yard Attendant will be responsible for maintaining an organized and efficient lot, moving vehicles with a forklift, and ensuring customer convenience. This role is integral to our commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence.

• Maintain an organized, clean, and debris-free lot
• Arrange and park vehicles in designated lot areas
• Oversee and maintain inventory
• Replace sold vehicles and fill empty spaces with new inventory, prioritizing the display of the most marketable vehicles
• Communicate any issues to the supervisor promptly
• Ensure all vehicle information is accurately recorded in the company’s software
• Oversee the release of vehicles, verifying forms of payment
• Mark vehicles that are ready for release
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• Experience with forklift operation preferred
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to communicate calmly and effectively
• Strong computer literacy
• Excellent time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Physical ability to drive, turn, twist, lift and pull at least 50 lbs
• Good hearing and vision
