We are a small private practice orthopedic surgery office located in Beverly Hills, treating both adults and children with various injuries. We are in need of a licensed Xray Technician/Medical Assistant to join our practice. We utilize digital imaging and a PACS system for image storage.
```Duties:``` - Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, on patients as directed by physicians - Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists - Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff - Ensure patient comfort and provide necessary support during imaging procedures - Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, imaging results, and other relevant data - Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care - Assist with medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records ```Qualifications:``` - High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited radiologic technology program - Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - State licensure or certification, if required - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and related technology - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction - Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment - Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting patient information and imaging results Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
