Form of workWe are looking for X-Ray Technician with Medical Assistant Skills to join our team in Fresno, CA with a thriving Urgent Care Facility!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reduce radiation risks by implementing patient-shielding techniques, including placing lead shields or aprons on non-photographed areas of a patient's body.
- Actively listen to patients' concerns, recording all relevant information (e.g., medication, last menstrual period, birth control method) in our Electronic Health Records system.
- Ensure a seamless and efficient patient flow. Reporting to the Medical Assistant Lead & Back Support Supervisor for the Suite is part of your responsibility.
- Conduct EKGs, accu-checks, and other diagnostic procedures according to established guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 1 year of experience
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Active Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) issued by the State of California
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Medical Assistant Skills
- Must pass drug tests, background screen, and live scans
DETAILS
- Starting at $22/hour, depending on experience
- Schedule varies, clinic is open everyday 8a-8p
- 40 hours/week, guaranteed
- 13 week contract, potential Direct Placement Opportunity after the contract
- ASAP Start
